The thirteenth workshop of the InQuire Research Incubator support program was held on 20th May 2021 in an online format. In this workshop, we had the opportunity to listen to two presentations of our participants on the topics of their draft project proposals. One presentation was on the topic “The role of translation in promotional tourism materials: discourse analysis”, which was presented by our colleague Inga Kotlo. Inga, within the program, works with prof. Dr Dženeta Karabegović on the development of research project proposals. The second presentation was on “The Impact of Household Debt Growth on Systemic Risk in Central and Eastern Europe”. This topic was presented by our colleague Sajira Ajanović, who cooperates with her mentor, prof. Dr Ian Jackson. After our colleagues’ presentations, the participants were allowed to give their comments and discuss the elements of the presented research proposals.
The second part of the workshop was planned to introduce participants to practical examples of qualitative data analysis using the QDA Miner program. Attendees were shown how data could be coded within this program and what analyzes we can get based on the code tree we are developing. Attendees were also introduced to presenting data using graphical representations according to different categories of codes and according to the most frequently mentioned words in the text.
